So its been a long week for me. I just got done graduating from Honor Guard this week. If your curious what that is, basically its the group that does active duty/vet funerals. I don't start doing it till November, but when I am in rotation I'll be heading all around the Solano area working at these funerals.
Anywho, Kamen Rider W is actually not as bad as I thought it was. I watched the first episode when it came out and then ended up finishing up Kamen Rider Kiva and started watching KR Den-O. Then I decided to go give it another shot, it gets better and better with each episode. Though I don't like the Henshin gimmick in this show. The fact that they need to both transform is kind of much, I think there running out of good ideas. I would like to do a cosplay of them, just because the main character dresses really snazzy. And the toys having talking usb sticks. Look it up.
Anywho, looks like I have a busy weekend ahead of me. Going to see the Star Wars concert on Saturday and then hanging out with my friend afterwards till Sunday. Thank goodness I have Monday off!

Thanks for everyone that come out tonight. I had a lot of things on my mind and I honestly just needed to go out and just have some fun.
And thanks to the people I just randomly meet, don't really know who you are but thanks for dancing the night away with me.
I think I realized, that throughout all this crap I gotta deal with, I still gotta be me, as simple as that sounds. I cant really explain it any other way I guess.
Oh and I can tear up the dance floor when they play middle eastern music at the club apparently. XD

Well lets recap on the week. This last work week has been really stressful and frustrating, with trying to get everyone ready for the alert this week and the pre-alert we are doing today. Long days, stupid questions, and just all around stupid people. Well I pushed through all the crapiness to get to the weekend, which was wonderful.
Friday was a really long day, I typically get out of work by 4:30, but got home around 7:30 instead. Got home and got out of my clothes, took a shower, bought some booze and headed off to Bree's place for a little get together. Regardless of feeling really drained, I'm glad I went. I hadn't seen everyone in such a long time and it made me realized how much I missed hanging out with them. Hopefully I wont wait three months to see them again. XD
Saturday morning/afternoon, I headed out to Chico to hang out with Claire and Natalie. Which was awesome! We made banana nut bread. I mashed the bananas. Real good. I eventually went out that night and meet up with Tera. It was our first time meeting, but it really wasn't all that awkward. We ended up seeing Surrogate, which was a really good movie. Woke up a bit late on Sunday and just enjoyed the day, ended up leaving Chico around 7ish or so, and got home before 10. All and all, a good weekend.

So I modified my Decadriver to fit around my waist. Not only does it fit, but it fits nice and snug. The Decadriver doesn't sag down or anything. Not too tight and not too loose.
All I needed was some elastic strap fabric, a little electrical tape and some magic.
On another note, Kamen Rider Kiva is really good. Im 33 episodes into it right now, with only about 15 left. And then from there, I might watch Kamen Rider Kabuto, or Den-O, since Nadia says its pretty good.

You've all been waiting for it, and here it is! My Kamen Rider Decade DX Decadriver and my DX Ridebooker came in today. After taking them both outta the box, staring at the japanese instructions for a few moments, and then putting some AAA batteries in, we had Sentai magic.
My only issue is with the DX Decadriver. The belt is only big enough to fit people between a 20-25 inch waist..Which is what I do not have. So I'm going to have to figure how Im going to modify it, without destroying the original belt. Ive got some ideas right now, just have to work on it.
And I've narrowed the outfit. Its going to be from Kamen Rider Blade's world. I'll post specific pictures later on.
Well heres the stuff!

Ridebooker

Opened up, revealing all my Ganbaride cards. Whos card is that on top? :D

The cards I got with my Henshin belt and Ridebooker. I just need a Final Kamen Ride card and I'll be set.

The Decadriver

Opened up, with the Decade card

Light up action

And the really small belt :(
Enjoy!!

My Blackbird fly came in today, but no one was home to accept the package. :(
So now I have to make time tomorrow during work to drive by the post office to pick up the package. Either way I'm happy it got here so quickly. I think thats the fastest I've seen a package make it here from overseas.

Well I got back from Sacramento this morning, after being awake for 20 hours, I went to sleep from 10-4pm. I woke myself up, so I wouldn't wake up at 1 in the morning and be up for the rest of the night. So now Im just surfing the net and getting ready to get my last two items I need to actually buy for my Tsukasa cosplay. OH! Speaking of which, my Blackbird fly is on its way. It just cleared customs in NY, so I might be lucky and get it by the end of this weekend. I'm also glad Im doing all my cosplay stuff early, because I hate being pressed for time when I'm trying to do this. That and Im glad I found a character I am really looking forward to cosplay, like when I cosplayed Luffy.
So once I get ordering the Decadriver DX and the Ridebooker, its onto getting the outfit into order. Then comes the wig, which is a little hard to work out because he has his hair in about 20 different styles throughout the 31 episodes.
Well heres some pictures, if all these terms and blah blah confuse you.

If Im here for it, I think Im going to go for one day. Probably just Saturday. And since I've been watching a lot of Kamen Rider Decade, I think Im going to cosplay the main character, Tsukasa, in his first episode/opening outfit.
SO, in order to do that I have to get the following items..
Blackbird Fly Decade Edition Camera(Its pink, hence decade edition)
DX Decadriver
DX Riderbooker
Jacket
Pink Wierd mock turtle neck
Really skinny pants/slacks
Odd looking dress shoes I need to look up
And a brown wig, first 1-5 episodes hair style
Im going to persuade Alex to cosplay Kaito, who is Kamen Rider DiEnd, so we go as a pair to the con. And Henshin all over the place. Keep you guys updated!!

So its only Saturday night, and so far its been a pretty good weekend so far. I'm not really in the mood to go out tonight since I was out all day Friday.
OH, I picked up Muramasa: Demon Blade for the Wii today. What a wonderful game it is. Hand drawn backgrounds, fast paced samurai action, rpg elements, and a half-decent story-line mix together to be one of the better NEW games I've played in a while. All these games coming out back to back are a bit upsetting though. I have to make time for every other game, because I find when I new game comes out, I tend to not pay attention to the older one. And I dont think I can beast through Muramasa over night. The next big game on the list is Colin Mcrae Dirt 2. BUT since that is a racing game, I can jump on it for a little and feel contempt about playing. September 29 is the release of KH 358/2 and then quickly followed by the release of the PSP Go and Gran Turismo PSP.
And my wallet just sobs quietly at night as I continue to buy more games.
On another note, I'll be in Sacramento all next weekend doing work for the Air Force week Air Show. Not quite sure when Im going to get any days after that weekend though, busy busy times at the office. And only SEVEN more months and I'll be on my way outta here...

So its been awhile since I last posted, so let me recap what has happened in the recent weeks.
I completed my Leadership course in Texas a couple of weeks ago, and recently got my test results for my next rank. I put on my new rank in November. Besides that work, work, and more work.
This past weekend was a great time, even if at times I thought I was going to melt from the heat. I got to hang out with Claire and Natalie this weekend during Sac-Anime (which really wasn't that great, seemed like a lot of poor planning), but we all still had a awesome time. I also got to see Nadia, which I havent seen since Y-Con as well, TWO years ago. We all need to hang out again before I leave the states or else I'll have a sad face.
Besides all this fun stuff, work has been really busy since we are getting ready to get on our alert cycle. I thought I was going to go somewhere this week, but it turned out I was a little more important than I thought, so I have to stay behind for now. Oh well. Labor Day weekend is coming up and it looks like I'll actually have the days off for it. Woo. Four day weekend.
Well thats all for now.

There is one on Saturday at Sacanime. Time to brush up. Lets see if I can pull off a win.
Man. I knew six weeks was a long time, but this is getting a bit much. I'm getting tired of getting up this dang early in the morning. Its been nice that I've been able to hang out with family and some of my old friends from the area, but I'm about ready to get back to CA.

Did our land navigation course test today. Me and my partner came out 3rd out of 13 teams. Almost 4000 meters walked, up hills, down hills, and through jungles. Fun times.
My head hurts, so time for some advil and a good nap. And then off to dinner.
